Acclaimed Bari-Tenor and Conductor, Steven Bermann performs a blend of Classical, Opera, Operetta, Orchestral Music, Religious, Musicals and Night Club music in many languages including English, Hebrew, French, German, Italian and Yiddish.

He has performed throughout Europe, the Orient and the Mid-East as a featured soloist with the Roger Wagner Chorale, Pennsylvania Opera Company, the Philadelphia New Music Group, the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony and the Los Angeles Zimriyah Chorale.

Bermann studied Conducting and Voice at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, UCLA, USC and CSUN and studied with coaches from the Vienna Staatsoper, the Los Angeles Musical Theater Workshop, and the Los Angeles Opera.

He has also been a Music Director of First United Methodist Church of San Gabriel where he conducted members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Chancel Choir. And has been Musical Director of Temple Beth Emet in Anaheim and Temple Beth Israel in Pomona. 

Bermann's rich sounds can be heard in the recording "In Good Company" - as a featured soloist, which includes the Music of Jewish Composers Robert Strassburg and Michael Isaacson.

Along with his work as a Vocal Soloist, Cantor-Soloist, and Conductor he has also been a member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale and has performed with luminaries such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Zubin Mehta, Eugene Ormandy, Grant Gershon, Antonio Pappano, Paul Salamunovich, Jorge Mester, Theodore Antoniou and Jeannine Wagner.
